Book of Enoch (1 Enoch) 30
Each verse number opens that verse. The numbers follow Charles’s 1917 order. Book of Enoch (1 Enoch) has the history and the issues with this book.
- And beyond these, I went afar to the east, and I saw another place, a valley (full) of water.
- And therein there was a tree, the colour (?) of fragrant trees such as the mastic.
- And on the sides of those valleys I saw fragrant cinnamon. And beyond these I proceeded to the east.
R. H. Charles, The Book of Enoch (London: SPCK, 1917), public domain. The verse text is the English Wikisource transcription of that translation. Charles’s editorial signs are kept. He rearranges some verses in chapters 5, 39, 90, 91, and 106, so those chapters are not a straight 1, 2, 3 sequence.
