Old Testament and New Testament Connections

Bars are chapters, sized by verse count. Color follows how far apart they sit.

Near chapters to far chapters.

Arc map of Old Testament and New Testament chapter connections. Bar height is the verse count, and arc color follows the distance between chapters.
How to Read This Map

The bars run in canonical order from Genesis to Revelation, and the height of a bar is the verse count. An arc joins two chapters that this site links. Shorter arcs stay low. The longest arc rises about half the width of the map. OT and NT mark the two Testaments. Ticks mark Law, Prophets, Gospels, and Paul’s Letters. The drawing is rebuilt from the cross-references on this site. It is not Chris Harrison’s BibleViz graphic, and it does not use that graphic’s data. Arrow keys move the selected chapter when the map is focused. Tap to Zoom opens a landscape view, and a pinch scales that view.
