Galatia, a large Roman province in central Asia Minor, comprising the districts of Paphlagonia, Pontus Galaticus, Galatia (in the narrower sense, which some still think is intended in the NT), Phrygia Galatica, Lycaonia Galatica, Pisidia and Isaurica.
