How Latter-day Saint teaching about the Godhead, Joseph Smith, and the Book of Mormon relates to Nicene faith.
Latter-day Saints worship the Father through Jesus Christ and speak readily of the Godhead. They are not people who have never heard of Jesus. The disagreement with Nicene Christianity is about what “one God” means, about whether Joseph Smith restored revelation the apostles did not leave, and about whether the Book of Mormon is scripture beside the Bible.
Use the name the person uses for their church. “Mormon” is a common nickname; the body is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Read their texts as texts they hold sacred, then say plainly where the Nicene confession differs. These pages only open that work.
