Conversations with Jehovah’s Witnesses about the Word, the Watch Tower, and who Jesus is.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are Bible readers. They care about the name of God, about not dividing God into three gods, and about a clean organization they trust to explain the text. A conversation that begins with a joke about the doorbell has already failed.

Ask which translation you will read, and then read the paragraph around the verse, not the verse alone. When a Watch Tower publication and the passage seem to pull apart, ask how a teaching is decided. These stubs name the usual texts. They do not replace reading them with the person in front of you.
