# 3 Enoch (Hebrew Enoch) 38:3

**Not Scripture.** Read [Why](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/3-enoch#research-notice) and [the Issues With This Book](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/3-enoch#issues-with-this-book).

Until the prince of the world calls them, saying: “Be ye quiet in your place! Fear not because of the ministering angels who sing the Song before the Holy One, blessed be He”. As it is written (Job xxxviii. 7): “When the morning stars sang together and all the children of heaven shouted for joy”.

Not received as Scripture by the Jewish canon or by the major Christian churches, apart from local exceptions such as the Ethiopian Orthodox canon, which includes 1 Enoch and Jubilees. This is not the Apocrypha.
