# 3 Enoch (Hebrew Enoch) 23:12

**Not Scripture.** Read [Why](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/3-enoch#research-notice) and [the Issues With This Book](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/3-enoch#issues-with-this-book).

There blows the “Wind, Breaking the Rocks”, as it is written (1 Kings xix. 11): “the Lord passed by and a great and strong wind (rent the mountains and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord)”.

Not received as Scripture by the Jewish canon or by the major Christian churches, apart from local exceptions such as the Ethiopian Orthodox canon, which includes 1 Enoch and Jubilees. This is not the Apocrypha.
