# Secrets of Enoch (2 Enoch, Slavonic Enoch) 65:2

**Not Scripture.** Read [Why](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#research-notice) and [the Issues With This Book](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#issues-with-this-book).

When the times of these things had come and were passed, understand how after all these things He made man in His own image after His likeness, and placed in him eyes to see; and ears to hear; and a heart to understand, and reason to take counsel.

Not received as Scripture by the Jewish canon or by the major Christian churches, apart from local exceptions such as the Ethiopian Orthodox canon, which includes 1 Enoch and Jubilees. This is not the Apocrypha.
