# Secrets of Enoch (2 Enoch, Slavonic Enoch) 60:1

**Not Scripture.** Read [Why](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#research-notice) and [the Issues With This Book](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#issues-with-this-book).

If he does an injury to the soul of man, he does an injury to his own soul; and there is no salvation for his flesh, nor forgiveness for ever.

Not received as Scripture by the Jewish canon or by the major Christian churches, apart from local exceptions such as the Ethiopian Orthodox canon, which includes 1 Enoch and Jubilees. This is not the Apocrypha.
