# Secrets of Enoch (2 Enoch, Slavonic Enoch) 54:1

**Not Scripture.** Read [Why](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#research-notice) and [the Issues With This Book](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#issues-with-this-book).

Let these books which I have given you be the inheritance of your peace: do not conceal them but tell them to all desiring them and admonish them that they may know the works of the Lord which are very wonderful.

Not received as Scripture by the Jewish canon or by the major Christian churches, apart from local exceptions such as the Ethiopian Orthodox canon, which includes 1 Enoch and Jubilees. This is not the Apocrypha.
