# Secrets of Enoch (2 Enoch, Slavonic Enoch) 46:1

Hear, my people, and pay attention to the words of my lips. If any one brings gifts to an earthly prince, but having unfaithfulness in his heart: if the prince knows it, will he not be angry with him on account of that, and he will not take his gifts, and will hand him over to condemnation?

Not received as Scripture by the Jewish canon or by the major Christian churches, apart from local exceptions such as the Ethiopian Orthodox canon, which includes 1 Enoch and Jubilees. This is not the Apocrypha.
