# Secrets of Enoch (2 Enoch, Slavonic Enoch) 39:1

**Not Scripture.** Read [Why](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#research-notice) and [the Issues With This Book](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#issues-with-this-book).

Listen, my children, what things are according to the will of the Lord. I am sent to-day to you to tell you from the lips of the Lord, what was and what is happening now, and what will be before the day of judgement.

Not received as Scripture by the Jewish canon or by the major Christian churches, apart from local exceptions such as the Ethiopian Orthodox canon, which includes 1 Enoch and Jubilees. This is not the Apocrypha.
