# Secrets of Enoch (2 Enoch, Slavonic Enoch) 24:4

**Not Scripture.** Read [Why](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#research-notice) and [the Issues With This Book](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#issues-with-this-book).

For before anything which is visible existed’, I alone held my course among the invisible things, like the sun from the east to the west, and from the west to the east.

Not received as Scripture by the Jewish canon or by the major Christian churches, apart from local exceptions such as the Ethiopian Orthodox canon, which includes 1 Enoch and Jubilees. This is not the Apocrypha.
