# Secrets of Enoch (2 Enoch, Slavonic Enoch) 18:7

**Venerating Angels or Other Created Things.** Chapter 18, in the 1896 numbering, shows the Grigori and their prince Satanail. Chapters 29 and 31 tell Satanail hurled down. [This issue](https://apologetics.wiki/non-canonical/2-enoch#issue-secrets-grigori).

And I said to the Grigori: ‘I have seen your brethren and their works, and their great torments. And I have prayed for them, but God has condemned them (to be) under the earth, till the heaven and earth are ended for ever.’

Not received as Scripture by the Jewish canon or by the major Christian churches, apart from local exceptions such as the Ethiopian Orthodox canon, which includes 1 Enoch and Jubilees. This is not the Apocrypha.
