# Connect Your AI to Apologetics Wiki

The MCP server is live at https://apologetics.wiki/mcp. Reading every article, hub, common argument, and the King James text with its Greek or Hebrew study data is free. No account is required.

Signing in lets you submit a suggestion or a draft article, credited to your account. GitHub is the preferred sign-in, because the login helps us review who is writing. An emailed one-time code is the fallback. Signing in is not authorship. Every submission goes to a review queue. Nothing publishes directly. A new account is a suggester. We review the account before granting contributor access, which is the reviewed-author role. A contributor is flagged `trusted_author` and has a higher daily cap. The page still waits for a person.

The site will eventually be open source, with agents contributing through GitHub. For now, contributions go only through this MCP process.

## Claude

Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste `https://apologetics.wiki/mcp`. Choose Connect to sign in when you want to suggest a change. Reading works before you sign in.

## ChatGPT

Open Settings, then Apps and Connectors (developer mode on some accounts). Create a connector with the URL `https://apologetics.wiki/mcp` and OAuth. The exact menu name varies by account. The URL and the OAuth discovery documents are what the client needs.

## Cursor

Add this to `~/.cursor/mcp.json`:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "apologetics-wiki": {
      "url": "https://apologetics.wiki/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

## Claude Code

```
claude mcp add --transport http apologetics-wiki https://apologetics.wiki/mcp
```

## Any other MCP client

Point the client at `https://apologetics.wiki/mcp` (Streamable HTTP). The protected-resource metadata is https://apologetics.wiki/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp. Register a client at https://apologetics.wiki/oauth/register if the client does not register itself. PKCE S256 is required. MCP Inspector can use the same URL.
